Special Classes:

Home-school Program: Dance & Gymnastics (Ages 4-19) Home-school classes are a great way for children that are home-schooled to get their physical activity time! This 55- minute class consists of warm-up and stretch, some general fitness and then splits the rest of its class time between dance and gymnastics. Older kids will work on gymnastics for about 20-25 minutes, then will switch to dance. The younger kids will start with dance, then switch to gymnastics. Performances: TBD Monthly Tuition: $61 Teachers (Florence): Jean Moore, Abby Foskuhl Class Practice Clothing Suggestions: Leotard and tights or leggings, ballet/jazz shoes and gymnastics shoes. Theater - Dance, Sing, Act (Ages 7-19) We believe in a comprehensive introduction to the arts with providing all styles of dance plus music, singing, drama, musical theater, and visual arts. This class runs weekly classes September - May with performances in the Winter and Spring. The student who loves singing, dancing and being on stage will thrive in this jazz-based 45-minute class that focuses on styles found in Broadway musicals. Students not only learn dance technique, but also work on singing and acting skills and performing with emotion and stage presence. This is a very well-rounded class. Performances: Recitals in winter & spring Styles of Dance: Jazz, musical theater - also singing and acting Monthly Tuition: $61 Teacher (Crystal Falls): Abby Foskuhl Class Practice Clothing Suggestions: Clothes that are easy to move around in, black jazz shoes. Private Lessons / Solo and Duet Practice (Ages 7-Adult) Private Lessons can be used if a student can’t find a class that fits in their schedule or can be used for solo, duet, or trios. Also, if a student needs to catch up on missed choreography, they can schedule a private lesson. Private Lessons can be scheduled for Dance, Acro, possibly Gymnastics, and possibly Ninja Warrior Parkour. Performances: Varies by student Styles of Dance: Varies by student - can be gymnastics, acro, jazz, ballet, lyrical, modern, hip hop, tap, musical theater, and others upon request. Monthly Tuition for a weekly 25-minute class: o Non-Competition: $61 per month o Competition: $99 per month Barre Fitness (Ages 10 - Adult) Barre Fitness is 35-minute physical exercise class that combines ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. Barre Fitness incorporates a ballet barre and use classic dance moves such as pliés, relevés, and ballet positions, alongside static stretches. Barre Fitness also focuses on high reps of small range movements to build muscle. Great for increasing strength in core, calves, and other muscles needed for ballet and dance. Barre class can be a good option for beginners and can be low-impact or high energy. Performances: None Monthly Tuition: $39 (take 2 or more fitness classes for only $59!) Dance 1 (Ages 2-5) In this 30-minute introductory class dancers will learn creative movement through dance. Young dancers will learn the basic ballet and jazz steps while learning how to follow direction and imitate movement and gross motor skill development games in a positive and fun environment. Dancers will learn recital routines and have lots of fun! Dance 2 (Ages 6-8) In this 40-minute introductory class dancers will learn ballet, jazz, and other forms of dance. Engaging music is used to get these little ones inspired to dance. Dancers will learn recital routines and dance technique and have lots of fun! Angelina Ballerina (Ages 4-7) Angelina Ballerina is a 35-minute class where dancers will begin to learn proper ballet technique and form based on the beloved Angelina Ballerina character. Your child will be inspired to pursue their dreams of dance, just like Angelina Ballerina! Performances: Recitals in winter & spring Styles of Dance: Ballet Monthly Tuition: $51 Teacher (Crystal Falls): Abby Foskuhl Class Practice Clothing Suggestions: Wear pink ballet attire with pink tights and pink ballet shoes (boys: all black) Ballet 1 (Ages 7-19) Ballet 1 is is a 50-minute class for students ages 7 and up. Beginner Ballet has a heavy emphasis on technique and form. All dancers that are at age 7 and up that have never taken ballet, will start with this class. Performances: Recitals in winter & spring Styles of Dance: Ballet Monthly Tuition: $61 Teacher (Crystal Falls): Miranda Straka Class Practice Clothing Suggestions: Wear black ballet attire with pink tights and pink ballet shoes (boys: black ballet shoes) Ballet 2 (Ages 10-19) Intermediate/Advanced Ballet is a 50-minute class for students who have taken at least one year of ballet. This class has a heavy emphasis on technique and form. Taking a ballet class will help with all forms of dance. It will teach students proper technique, give them a deeper plié, a higher relevé, a better turn-out, it improves their line, posture, flexibility, alignment and strength. It is the foundation and sets them up for other dance styles like jazz and contemporary. Ballet can certainly make students an all-around better dancer, and it can be fun, too! Requirements: AT LEAST one year of ballet class. The choreography learned will be rich in performance quality, technique and exciting moves guaranteed to get the fans off their seats! Your child will learn what it takes to be a performer! Must participate in monthly performances and additional costumes are required. Requirements: There is a strict attendance policy for this class. It is also HIGHLY recommended that the students in this class take another dance, technique, or a gymnastics class to improve their dance and gymnastics skills! Gymnastics Classes (by level):

Gymnastics 1 (Level 1, Ages 4-19) In this 45-minute class, students will learn gymnastics skills on the beam, uneven bar, and floor. Students will learn (or begin to learn) gymnastic skills including somersaults, handstands, cartwheels, splits, and many other skills. Requirements: Good listening skills and focus are required. This class is designed for students who are able to be in a class independent of their parents. Performances: Shows in winter & spring Monthly Tuition: $61 Teachers (Crystal Falls) : Abby Foskuhl Teachers (Florence) : Jean Moore Class Practice Clothing Suggestions: Leotard and leggings, gymnastics shoes. Gymnastics 2 (Level 2+, Ages 7-19) In this 45-minute class, students will learn gymnastics skills on the beam, uneven bar, and floor. Students will learn (or begin to learn) gymnastic skills including aerials, handsprings, flip flops walkovers, handsprings, tucks, pikes, layouts, and many other tricks/skills. Requirements: Must have taken at LEAST one year of any gymnastics class and have at least a handstand and cartwheel to start this class. Performances: Shows in winter & spring Monthly Tuition: $61 Teachers (Crystal Falls & Florence) : Jean Moore Class Practice Clothing Suggestions: Leotard and leggings, gymnastics shoes. Acro 1 Non-competition (Ages 6-19) In this fun 45-minute class, students will learn the basics of acrobatics, gymnastics, and dance. Acro is not the typical tumbling or gymnastics class. Our acro instructors will guide the class towards increased flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline and concentration. This class will focus on fundamental acrobatic technique, teaching such skills as handstands, chin stands, elbow stands, cartwheels, back bends, walkovers, balance, partner lifts, and contortion tricks, based on each student's individual level of experience. And it's fun, too! Requirements: Must also be enrolled in another a dance, technique, or a gymnastics class. Dance Styles: Acro, jazz Performances: Winter & Spring recitals Monthly Tuition: $61 Teacher (Crystal Falls & Iron River) : Abby Foskuhl Class Practice Clothing Suggestions: Leotard and leggings, gymnastics shoes. Cirque du Acro Competition Team (Ages 6-19, must try out for team) This 65-minute class in which intermediate acro students participate in 2 competitive dance routine which will compete in 2 competitions a year (they will also learn one additional non-competition routine for recital). This class will focus on fundamental acrobatic technique through fun jazzy dance routines. Requirements: There is a very strict attendance policy for this class. Student must also be enrolled in a dance technique class. Must have taken at least 1-2 years of any gymnastics or acro class and have at least a handstand, cartwheel, and any split to start this class. We also highly suggest taking a gymnastics class. Dance Styles: Acro, jazz Performances: 1-2 area events, 1 basketball half-time, 2 competitions, Winter & Spring recitals Monthly Tuition: $152 Teacher (Crystal Falls) : Jean Moore and Abby Foskuhl Class Practice Clothing Suggestions: Leotard and leggings, gymnastics shoes. Soaring Acrobatics Competition Team (Ages 8-19, must try out for team) This 65-minute class in which intermediate/advanced acro students participate in 2-3 competitive dance routines which will compete in 2 competitions a year. This class will focus on fundamental acrobatic technique, teaching such skills as advanced handstands, chin stands, elbow stands, cartwheels, back bends, walkovers, balance, partner lifts, and contortion tricks. Requirements: There is a very strict attendance policy for this class. Student must also be enrolled in a dance technique class. Must have taken at least two years of any gymnastics or acro class and have at least a handstand, cartwheel, any walk-over, and any split to start this class. We also highly suggest taking a gymnastics class. Dance Styles: Acro, jazz, hip hop Performances: 1-2 area events, 1 basketball half-time, 2 competitions, Winter & Spring recitals Monthly Tuition: $161 Teacher (Crystal Falls) : Jean Moore and Abby Foskuhl Class Practice Clothing Suggestions: Leotard and leggings, gymnastics shoes and hip hop shoes.

Ninja Warrior Parkour Classes: (pronounced “par-core”)

American Ninja Warrior has created a surge of excitement in the USA, especially for young people. This exciting TV Program was actually developed out of an older form of sport called Parkour. Parkour is the sport of moving rapidly through an area, typically in an urban environment, negotiating obstacles by running, jumping, and climbing - getting from one place to another in STYLE. Be a part of the hottest new sport! You will be learning how to do tumbling, flips, safe falling, and get over obstacles quickly. Any obstacle becomes your playground. Come be a part of the fastest growing sport in the world! Ninja Warrior 1 (Ages 3-7) Kids naturally want to run, jump, climb, balance and generally test their limits. This program plays on that kind of fun. Ninja Warrior Parkour is exceptional at developing many types of strengths, flexibility and balance while challenging participants through fun. This beginner, 45-minute class is really good for your child. It teaches younger students how to listen to a teacher and make his body do what the teacher says. It teaches problem solving, focus, perseverance, agility, strength, patience, coordination and more. All in a naturally challenging and rewarding environment. Performances: Shows in winter & spring Monthly Tuition: $47 Class Practice Clothing Suggestions: Gym clothes that are easy to move in, gym shoes that are not worn outside. Ninja Warrior 2 (Ages 8-19) This 45-minutes class provides a basis of maneuvers the beginning parkour athlete can use to build upon in a creative manner. Classes will build strength, self-awareness, confidence and coordination, which will increase your child’s performance in all other physical activities and sports. Classes are taught on our gym floor, using mats, blocks, and other obstacles that give the feel of an urban environment - without the danger of cement or concrete. Our Ninja Warrior Parkour program is a great outlet for energy and appeals to a wide range of ages and abilities - everyone loves to run, jump, and flip! Our staff strives to make the program as safe as possible through progressions, equipment design as well as general physical and mental preparations. Adult Dance Aerobics (Ages 12-adult) This fitness class is a fusion of many dance styles that create a dynamic, exciting, and based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO." This Zumba-inspired 45-minute class includes routines that feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Great for any fitness level - can be done at high or low impact. Performances: None Monthly Tuition: $39 (take 2 or more fitness classes for only $59!) Low Impact Adult Fitness (Ages 18+) This 45-minute, low-impact fitness class is perfect for those participants that want low-impact aerobics but LOTS OF FUN!! Perfect class for those recovering from a minor injury, older participants, or those at any fitness level! Much of the class is performed from a chair but you will still get a great workout! Gymnastics 2 (Level 2+, Ages 7-19) In this 45-minute class, students will learn gymnastics skills on the beam, uneven bar, and floor. Students will learn (or begin to learn) gymnastic skills including aerials, handsprings, flip flops walkovers, handsprings, tucks, pikes, layouts, and many other tricks/skills. Requirements: Must have taken at LEAST one year of any gymnastics class and have at least a handstand and cartwheel to start this class. Acro 1 Non-competition (Ages 6-19) In this fun 45-minute class, students will learn the basics of acrobatics, gymnastics, and dance. Acro is not the typical tumbling or gymnastics class. Our acro instructors will guide the class towards increased flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline and concentration. This class will focus on fundamental acrobatic technique, teaching such skills as handstands, chin stands, elbow stands, cartwheels, back bends, walkovers, balance, partner lifts, and contortion tricks, based on each student's individual level of experience. And it's fun, too! Requirements: Must also be enrolled in another a dance, technique, or a gymnastics class. Cirque du Acro Competition Team (Ages 6-19, must try out for team) This 65-minute class in which intermediate acro students participate in 2 competitive dance routine which will compete in 2 competitions a year (they will also learn one additional non-competition routine for recital). This class will focus on fundamental acrobatic technique through fun jazzy dance routines. Requirements: There is a very strict attendance policy for this class. Student must also be enrolled in a dance technique class. Must have taken at least 1-2 years of any gymnastics or acro class and have at least a handstand, cartwheel, and any split to start this class. We also highly suggest taking a gymnastics class. Dance Styles: Acro, jazz Performances: 1-2 area events, 1 basketball half- time, 2 competitions, Winter & Spring recitals Monthly Tuition: $152 Teacher (Crystal Falls) : Jean Moore and Abby Foskuhl Class Practice Clothing Suggestions: Leotard and leggings, gymnastics shoes. Soaring Acrobatics Competition Team (Ages 8-19, must try out for team) This 65-minute class in which intermediate/advanced acro students participate in 2-3 competitive dance routines which will compete in 2 competitions a year. This class will focus on fundamental acrobatic technique, teaching such skills as advanced handstands, chin stands, elbow stands, cartwheels, back bends, walkovers, balance, partner lifts, and contortion tricks. Ninja Warrior Parkour Classes: (pronounced

“par-core”)

American Ninja Warrior has created a surge of excitement in the USA, especially for young people. This exciting TV Program was actually developed out of an older form of sport called Parkour. Parkour is the sport of moving rapidly through an area, typically in an urban environment, negotiating obstacles by running, jumping, and climbing - getting from one place to another in STYLE. Be a part of the hottest new sport! You will be learning how to do tumbling, flips, safe falling, and get over obstacles quickly. Any obstacle becomes your playground. Come be a part of the fastest growing sport in the world! Ninja Warrior 1 (Ages 3-7) Kids naturally want to run, jump, climb, balance and generally test their limits. This program plays on that kind of fun. Ninja Warrior Parkour is exceptional at developing many types of strengths, flexibility and balance while challenging participants through fun. This beginner, 45-minute class is really good for your child. It teaches younger students how to listen to a teacher and make his body do what the teacher says. It teaches problem solving, focus, perseverance, agility, strength, patience, coordination and more. All in a naturally challenging and rewarding environment. Ninja Warrior 2 (Ages 8-19) This 45-minutes class provides a basis of maneuvers the beginning parkour athlete can use to build upon in a creative manner. Classes will build strength, self- awareness, confidence and coordination, which will increase your child’s performance in all other physical activities and sports. Classes are taught on our gym floor, using mats, blocks, and other obstacles that give the feel of an urban environment - without the danger of cement or concrete. Our Ninja Warrior Parkour program is a great outlet for energy and appeals to a wide range of ages and abilities - everyone loves to run, jump, and flip! Our staff strives to make the program as safe as possible through progressions, equipment design as well as general physical and mental preparations. Adult Dance Aerobics (Ages 12-adult) This fitness class is a fusion of many dance styles that create a dynamic, exciting, and based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO." This Zumba-inspired 45-minute class includes routines that feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Great for any fitness level - can be done at high or low impact. Performances: None Monthly Tuition: $39 (take 2 or more fitness classes for only $59!)
