This class will focus on fundamental acrobatic technique, teaching such skills as handstands, chin stands, elbow stands, cartwheels, back bends, walkovers, balance, partner lifts, and contortion tricks, based on each student's individual level of experience. American Ninja Warrior has created a surge of excitement in the USA, especially for young people. This thrilling TV program was actually developed out of an older form of sport called Parkour. Parkour is the sport of moving rapidly through an area, typically in an urban environment, negotiating obstacles by running, jumping, and climbing - getting from one place to another in STYLE. Be a part of the hottest new sport! You will be learning how to do tumbling, flips, safe falling, and get over obstacles quickly. Any obstacle becomes your playground. Come be a part of the fastest growing sport in the world!Ninja Warrior 1 (Ages 3-7)Kids naturally want to run, jump, climb, balance and generally test their limits. This program plays on that kind of fun. Ninja Warrior Parkour is exceptional at developing many types of strengths, flexibility and balance while challenging participants through fun. This beginner, 45-minute class is really good for your child. It teaches younger students how to listen to a teacher and make his body do what the teacher says. It teaches problem solving, focus, perseverance, agility, strength, patience, coordination and more. Classes are taught on our gym floor, using mats, blocks, and other obstacles that give the feel of an urban environment - without the danger of cement or concrete.
