January!

Adult Line Dancing

Try   it   out!   We   have   two   free   classes January     7th     and     January     14th! These    classes    will    be    Tuesdays    in Crystal Falls from 6:15-7:00 pm. Kaitlyn    Bradley    remotely    teaches    this    10-week class   (January   21,   2020   -   March   31,   2020)   where you   will   learn   1-3   line   dance   routines   per   class. Line   dancing   is   a   choreographed   dance   with   a   repeated   sequence   of steps   in   which   a   group   of   people   dance   in   one   or   more   lines   or   rows, all    facing    either    each    other    or    in    the    same direction,   and   executing   the   steps   at   the   same time.   We   will   also   have   some   outing   days   (not on   class   days)   where   we   will   go   to   a   local   bar and    dance    for    fun!    Click    here    for    more information    about    the    Line    Dancing    class . WOW CARDS

Wow     cards     are     a     VERY     SPECIAL     reward program     for     students     at     Inclusion     Dance. When   a   student   does   something   EXTRA   special when   they   are   at   an   Inclusion   Studio,   like   going out   of   their   way   to   help   another   student,   or   if   a teacher   feels   they   worked   EXTRA   hard   to   get   a particular    skill,    that    student    will    be    given    a WOW   card.   These   kids   received   WOW   CARDS since   September:   Jewel   Aho,   Savanna   Blough, Anna    Bush,    Kylee    Devore,    Karter    Erickson,      Penelope    Fleischman,    Ally    Harper,    Brooklyn Krueger,   Eileen   Kudwa,   Annika   Larson,   Emma Oman,   Gilmore   Rajala,   Monroe   Rajala,   Lillian Warren.

Shyla Bradley

Shyla   teaches   Acro   as   well   as   solos   and   duets.   This is   her      second   year   teaching   at   Inclusion.   Shyla   said her    favorite    part    of    teaching    dance    and    acro    is seeing   kids   improve   and   how   excited   they   get   when they   get   a   new   trick   or   nail   the   timing   of   a   dance.   I can't      dance   or   do   gymnastics   anymore   because   of my   EDS,   so   getting   to   teach   it   allows   me   to   still   be part   of   something   I   love.   I   love   how   welcoming   the studio   is,   and   how   we   do   fun   and   unique   things   for the kids.

Sing, Dance, Play

For children ages 1-4 with their parents in Iron River and Crystal Falls Sari   Jacobson   is   the   teacher   for   of   this   awesome   10-week class   for   children   with   their   parents   (or   grandparents).   This class   combines   music,   dance   and   educational   tools   for   45 minutes      of      unstoppable      bonding,      learning,      and      fun! Emotional   development   is   nurtured   through   dancing,   moving, feeling,   and   seeing.   Your   bond   with   your   child   is   strengthened through    spending    quality time   celebrating   your   child (and     your     inner     child!). Balance     and     rhythm     is developed     by     enhancing motor    skills    and    learning to     bounce     to     the     beat. Your     child     will     develop social    skills    by    interacting with   other   kids   and   solving puzzles.    The    Iron    River    class    begins    January    20    and    runs through   March   30,   2020.   he   Crystal   Falls   class   begins   January 22 and runs through April 1, 2020.

Saturday, January 18 10:00-12:00 $15 Saturday, February 15 10:00-1:00 $20 Saturday, April 18 10:00-12:00 $15 Our   Christmas   Open   Gym   was   such   a   hit,   we   decided   to   offer   3   more   open   gym   times   this   season.   It   is perfect   for   parents   to   get   time   to   themselves!   The   child   does   NOT   need   to   be   a   member   of   Inclusion Dance to attend. Winter Recital

All   dance,   acro,   ballet,   and   Fun   Floor   Gymnastics   classes   will   be   participating   in   the   Winter   Recital.   We have   had   such   a   wonderful   season   so   far   and   we   can’t   wait   for   family   and   friends   to   see   all   the   hard   work these students put in. Rehearsal   for   Winter   Recital   is   January   2nd   at   3:45   pm   at   the   Crystal   Theatre.   Concessions   will   be   available so   please   send   your   dancer   with   money   or   a   packed   snack   and   water.   Students   will   need   their   red   recital t-shirt, black leggings, and dance shoes. Recital   is   January   4th   at   1:00   pm   at   the   Crystal   Theatre.   Dancers   are   required   to   be   there   no   later   than 12:00pm   with   hair   and   makeup   done.   Only   a   small   concession   will   be   available   this   day   so   please   pack   a snack and water for your dancer. Please   wear   your   hair   either   in   nice   braids   or   in   a   high   pony   tail.   Have   nice,   simple,   stage   make-up   on. Blush, lipstick, and mascara is great so that the students don’t look washed out on stage.
