The Things Every Parent Should Know

Before Bringing Their Child to Class!

Thank    you    for    signing    your    child    up    for    classes    at    Inclusion    Dance.    Our    classes increase    confidence,    coordination,    memory,    self-expression,    social    skills,    school classroom   performance,   and   help   your   child   make   friends.   You   have   put   your   child   on a path to success! On this page: What to wear What to bring What to expect on the first day (parking and entering building) What to expect to pay What is expected of each child at each class level (skills needed) What to wear! Hair: If the child has longer hair, make sure their hair is free from their face and in a tight bun, braid, or ponytail for class. Attire: Ballet: Tights, leotard, ballet shoes (if you don’t have these items yet, feel free to wear any tight fitting clothing that moves freely). Other Dance classes: Tight fitting clothing that moves freely, black jazz dance shoes. Gymnastics: Tight fitting clothing that moves freely, leotards can also be worn. No shoes or socks. Ninja Warrior Parkour: Loose fitting, free moving clothing, tennis shoes. You do not need dance/ballet shoes right away, Inclusion Dance can size your child and order them for you if you do not have any. NO JEANS, KHAKI PANTS, OR BDU-TYPE PANTS. NO JEWELRY. If you have any questions on where to get appropriate attire. Ask any member of staff and we will help you out! What to bring! Water (or you can purchase water for $0.50 or Gatorade for $1.00, there is also a water fountain available). If the parent/guardian doesn’t come with the student on the first day, please fill out the registration form online, or print this form and fill it out and bring it the day of the class. Crystal Falls Location

Address - 401 Superior Ave; Crystal Falls, MI 49920 (2nd Floor) Parking - Parking at the Crystal Falls location is limited. There are five spaces available in the alley, street parking available in front of the building on either side of the road (on Superior Ave), a parking lot behind the building (on Marquette Ave) across from the green apartment building, as well as parking available in the car dealer lot to the west of the building (after the car dealership business hours please). Entering the Studio - There is a door on the west side of the building, that has a handicap sign above the door! Enter here, press the up arrow on the elevator (located to your immediate right inside the door), and press button 2 once in the elevator. When you enter the studio, you will be greeted by our welcome wall. (Information about our teachers, any information you may need about upcoming events, and fun day to day messages). If it is your first time here check in with our receptionist and they will help with all your questions, concerns, and what to expect for the classes. They will introduce you and your child to their teacher, as well as your child to the other students in class! Don’t hesitate to ask any questions!

Iron River Location

Address - 3257 US-2, Iron River, MI 49935 (Gym & Room 105) Parking - Parking is available across the road from the school on Rogers street in the old tennis court as well as the street itself, the main school parking lot (limited spaces), and behind the school on First St. Entering the Studio - Follow the signs that explain which door to enter through. On Monday, enter the main school doors in the front of the school, the two doors to the right will be unlocked. Here you will be greeted by the receptionist. The receptionist will then introduce you and your child to their teacher, as well as other students in the classes. Feel free to ask any questions you may have! On Tuesday please enter the building on the south east side of the building. Enter through the gate that leads to the playground. There will be signs that show you where to go. Once your inside, you should see room #105 and the you will be greeted by the dance teacher. The teacher will introduce your child to the other students, and answer any and all questions you may have. What to expect to pay! (All Classes) Registration Fee: $15 (All Classes) Tuition: Between $30-$49 per month.  For monthly tuition prices, check here: registration form (All Classes) Winter Recital/Showcase T-shirt: $16 ($5 extra for name on back) (Ballet, Dance, Acro Classes) Shoes: o Pink Ballet Shoes: $20 (ballet class) o Black Jazz Shoes: $30 (dance & performance team class) o Nude Foot Undeez: $12 (acro class) o Lyrical Shoes: $18 (Divas Competition Dance class) (Ballet, Dance, Acro Classes) Spring Recital Costumes: o $60 per class o Performance Team costumes are a total of $160 o Soaring Acro Competition costumes are a total of $190 o Divas Competition Dance costume is $60. (Competition Classes) Competition Fees: 2 competitions, 2 routines, $45-$60 per routine. What is expected of each student at each level of class! Ninja Warrior Parkour classes are divided by age not skill level. Each student can go at their own pace and skill level. Whether you are super athletic or not-so- much, just pick the age level for your class. No previous skills are required for any class level. Dance Classes and Performance Team classes are divided by age not skill level. Each student can go at their own pace and skill level. Whether you are super athletic or not-so-much, just pick the age level for your class. No previous skills are required for any class level. Ballet classes are separated by age AND skill level. Angelina Ballerina is for Ages 5.5-7. Beginner Ballet is for 8 and up and new to ballet. Intermediate ballet is for students who have taken beginner ballet previously for at least a year.  Advanced ballet is for students who have taken intermediate ballet for at least a year. Gymnastics, Acro, and Competition Classes are separated by SKILL LEVEL. For skills needed for each class, please read the information provided on this page.
