Our Ballet Classes

Ballet at Inclusion Dance in Crystal Falls, MI, is a classical dance form that emphasizes grace, precision, and artistic expression. Our ballet classes are designed to develop students’ technique, posture, and flexibility while instilling a deep appreciation for the art of dance.

In these classes, students will learn fundamental ballet techniques, including positions, barre exercises, and center work, all taught by our experienced instructors. Whether your child is new to ballet or looking to refine their skills, our classes cater to various skill levels, allowing each student to progress at their own pace.

At Inclusion Dance, we foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student can grow as a dancer. Our ballet program not only focuses on technical development but also encourages creativity, discipline, and self-confidence. We are committed to helping each student reach their full potential in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.

Classes are ordered by age or level depending on the class.

Ballet 1 (Ages 5-19)

Ballet 1 is is a 40-minute class and has a heavy emphasis on technique and form. All dancers that are at age 5 and up that have never taken ballet or a technique class, will start with this class.

  • Performances: Winter and Spring Recitals
  • Styles of Dance: Ballet
  • Teacher: Miranda Straka
  • Class Practice Clothing Suggestions: Wear black ballet attire with tights or leggings and pink ballet shoes. One pair of ballet shoes can be provided by Inclusion Dance.
  • Monthly Tuition: $75

Ballet 2+ (Ages 8-19)

Ballet 2 is a 40-minute class for students who have taken at least one year of ballet and have been asked to move up to Ballet 2. This class has a heavy emphasis on technique and form. Taking a ballet class will help with all forms of dance. It will teach students proper technique, give them a deeper plié, a higher relevé, a better turn-out, it improves their line, posture, flexibility, alignment, and strength. It is the foundation for all dance and sets them up for other dance styles like jazz and contemporary. Ballet can certainly make students an all-around better dancer, and it can be fun, too!

  • Requirements: AT LEAST one year of ballet class.
